Color group

Two grids of colors.  In each grid, the top-left and bottom-right have dark colors, and the other quadrants have lighter colors.

Based on a picture I used as the cover of my binder while I was taking group theory. The table shows the results of a certain operation, which together with the set of 16 colors that I chose, forms a group. (The tables show the same operation, but are arranged differently.) The group operation is a bitwise XOR of the binary representations of the colors used in DOS; left is in rainbow order, right is in binary order.
