Baby geese 2026

March: More baby geese, but this time one appears to be injured and was hopping around.
A baby goose, seen from behind, with some feathers or something sticking out of their wing oddly

Later March: They're getting bigger again!
Three geese who look kind of adult-like but with fluffy heads still.

May: We went to a different place and saw a lot of babies, twenty-nine in this photo! (This isn't even all the ones we saw that day! though it is most of them. There was a smaller group in a different nearby place.)
A goose in the water with 29 goslings behind them.

And then shortly after that, back where the other geese were…
A goose with their head in the water, and seven small goslings.

June:
Some kind-of-adult kind-of-baby geese in the water

2026: I finally saw more ducklings!
A brown speckledish duck next to two brown ducklings that have a few light patches.A mostly-black duck along with four mostly-black ducklings.

Also this photo looks kind of weird. It's probably the back end of a duck, but the way that light spot is placed I keep thinking it's the head of a kind of weird-looking bird.
A mostly-black duck ducking with a white spot and white tail, which kind of look like an eye and a beak, respectively.

Also another heron photo from last year (not technically a waterfowl, but a bird near the water):
A heron with a stretched-out neck, standing on a thin log, and the entire bird is reflected clearly in the water right below.
