I don't know much about sports, which can be culturally isolating, so it's tempting to get vocal about not following them.
Otherwise I might get into an awkward situation where I wouldn't know what to say.

But I know the things I'm into don't always sound interesting to 100% of the people around me, and I'd rather not bore others just because they thought they had to listen. (And I'd rather find people who are genuinely interested.)

So while some people are going on about the Super Bowl on Sunday, let me tell you what I'll be doing:
