Off-panel: Hah! You mean "figuratively"!

Someone with messy hair and a long beard has appeared in the panel next to them.
Person: Since you insist on pedantry: You are right that I did not mean "literally", and that use of "figuratively" would be accurate in its place. However...

Person: "Literally" was not being used to indicate that the description was figurative, but as an intensifier. So, while I may be wrong, so were you.
