The numbers keep changing

Minesweep has an option to show the number of mines surrounding a square that you haven't marked (as opposed to all mines surrounding a square regardless of whether they've been marked). If that option is on, the numbers will change.

To turn off that option:

  1. Choose Minesweep > Preferences
  2. In the Numbers pop-up menu choose Total Surrounding Mines.
